Event: Overtures and Intermissions

Frequent Organ Overture and Intermission (varies by show), and occasional silent movies. The Akron Civic Theatre (Originally Lowe's Akron Theatre) is a historic "Atmospheric" theatre, designed by John Eberson in 1929. The Civic was restored in 2000, along with the organ being restored and expanded. The stars still twinkle as the clouds mysteriously float across the blue sky ceiling.
