On Sunday morning, time has been allotted for sleeping in, relaxing or going to church. Later in the morning, the ATOS Annual Meeting will be held in the Hyatt Regency Grand Ballroom. Then, after lunch, we will board the motor coaches for a 10-minute ride to the newly-air-conditioned Carl E. Wright Memorial Auditorium at Manual High School to hear our 2007 Young Artist Competition winner, plus the 2008 competitors performing for us on the 3-manual, 26-rank Wurlitzer, decorated to match the lovely décor of the just refurbished Auditorium. | ||

Another musical treat is in store for us on Sunday
evening when we take a short journey across town to the
Warren
Center for the Performing Arts to see and hear the 3-manual,
18-rank Barton organ, originally from the Indiana Theatre in downtown
Indianapolis, just across the street from our Hyatt Regency Hotel. This
completely restored organ was premiered at our 1997 ATOS Annual
Convention and heard again during our 2001 ATOS Annual Convention. The British artist for this year’s exciting concert will be the multi-talented, wildly-popular king of the improvised, impromptu encores, the highly acclaimed RICHARD HILLS. |
