ATOS Convention Rescheduled
All of us at ATOS recognize we are dealing with uncertain times. Last night your ATOS Board of Directors took what we believe is the appropriate step to reschedule the ATOS Annual Convention to July of 2021, in Indianapolis. We do not take these actions lightly and know everyone’s health and well-being need to be of paramount importance.
The 2021 convention will follow this schedule:
Preglow, July 5
Convention, July 6-9
Afterglow, July 10
The convention committee is working to maintain the same convention itinerary. Any changes will be announced as necessary. On a positive note, the committee hopes to include the Lerner Theatre in Elkhart, IN, featuring an original and beautifully restored Kimball theatre pipe organ. This venue couldn’t be included in 2020 as it was fully booked for a Broadway style performance.
New hotel reservation links will be distributed soon. In the meantime, The Westin hotel has been extremely cooperative. They will cancel all existing reservations; you need not do anything in that regard other than make your new reservation when the link is available.
You will get your sport shirts! We will be moving forward with ordering the ATOS sport shirts for those who have ordered and will look at shipping them to you in late July or August. If you haven’t ordered and are interested, please visit the ATOS Marketplace on the ATOS website at www.atos.org/store/shop.
If you have registered for the convention, here is important information. All existing convention registrations will be automatically moved to the new dates. If you registered online, please visit https://atos.account.webconnex.com/login/ to login and/or claim your account to make changes or request refunds. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method. Those who registered by mail will receive additional information by mail. For any registration questions you can contact our Convention Registrar, Tom Goesch, at registrar [at] atos.org.
There will be no fees or penalties assessed for any changes by the Westin or ATOS.
As always, please visit the ATOS webpage for the most up-to-date information regarding this and all other programs. We ask for your patience as we make every effort to update information regarding our various activities.
More than ever we appreciate your continued support. For all of us these are uncharted waters. We are doing the best we can. Stay tuned for additional information as it becomes available.
