After an absence from the console, Barry Baker will be returning during the summer months of 2011 to perform his “Swingin’ Sizzling Summer Pops Show.” Barry has previously performed on many of the great theatre organs across the United States and internationally. His concerts have consistently garnered positive reviews and his upcoming performances are sure not to disappoint! Barry’s concert bookings are being coordinated through Susan Cole Keyboard Productions.

Detroit Theatre Organ Society Wurlitzer Console

Last evening (Saturday October 16), Ron Rhode thrilled an audience during the inaugural concert on a 3/12 Barton installed in the renovated Dixon Theater, Dixon, Illinois.

Thomas (Tom) Roughton was the first of three boys born to James and Irma Roughton in Long Beach, CA on October 30, 1942. He attended Bullard High School in Fresno, CA, University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA and Fresno State University, Fresno, CA. His working career was focused in the banking and computer industries spending many years at Bank of America, Olivetti, Caelus Manufacturing Software and Lukins & Annis Attorneys P.S. He lived most of his life in California until moving to Spokane, Washington in 1990.

OCATOS is pleased to present ATOS 2009 young organist award winner Nathan Avakian performing his much acclaimed "Outside the Box'. This event will occur May 7th, 2010 at Cleveland high school in Portland, Oregon. Nathan will play the CHS 3/21 Kimball pipe organ and accompany the NW Fusion dance company, silent comedian Angel Ocasio and vocalist Claire Avakian.

The fourth annual edition of the highly successful collaboration between the Rochester Theater Organ Society and the University of Rochester's world renowned Eastman School of Music to take place at Rochester's Auditorium Theater.

Two films are left in 2010 of the Yannitell Memorial Concert/Film Series at The Historic Palace Theatre in Marion, OH. Also part of the series were two films in fall 2009.
