ATOS Around the Circuit Event Listing Policy
Return to the Around the Circuit Event Submission Form
We gladly accept submissions of theatre organ events occurring worldwide for publication in the ATOS "Around the Circuit" section of the website and THEATRE ORGAN. We publish concerts, events, and regularly-scheduled opportunities to hear and play theatre pipe organs and theatre-type electronic organs. Unfortunately, we are unable to publish event listings for programs on non-theatre-style church, civic, or academic organs. Event submissions must be made by chapter representatives, theatres or venues, performing arts groups, or other entities representing a venue. We are unable to accept submissions directly from organists or their agents.
Event submissions must include artist name and a specific date and time. For silent films, please include the film title. General notices, such as "call us," or "check our web site for dates" may not be accepted. The full venue name, street address, city, state, zip, telephone number, web site address (if any), and the organ builder/size is required for each event submission.
The deadline for receiving Around the Circuit listings for publication in THEATRE ORGAN is the 10th of every odd-numbered month (January, March, May, July, September and November). Entries for the website may be submitted at any time. All submissions should be made via the web form. Submissions by mail are also accepted within the guidelines stated previously if submitting by the web form is not at all possible. Submissions by mail need to be received by the 10th of every month (not just postmarked). Send information to the current Around the Circuit Editor as follows: Around the Circuit c/o ATOS, 1615 DeFoors Walk NW, Atlanta GA 30318.
The contact person making the submission should include their name, telephone number, and e-mail address (if available) to facilitate possible follow-up requests for further information. The submitter’s contact information is not published.
We strive for accuracy; however, the information contained in "Around the Circuit" is presented as submitted. ATOS is not responsible for errors resulting from unreported changes to schedules, venue, or contact information.
The THEATRE ORGAN Editorial Office reserves the right to accept, reject, or edit any and all submitted articles and advertising.
