Technical Experience

The ATOS Technical Experience was a four-day seminar that provided hands-on training for anyone interested in the technical aspects of the theatre pipe organ. The Experience covers a variety of subjects, including moving about an organ chamber, care of pipes, tuning, blower control, winding fundamentals, chest restoration, and much more.
This annual event brought the finest technicians and installers together with young technicians, chapter volunteers, and others who wish to learn the proper methods of restoration.
Since the very first Technical Experience was presented in 2010, six seminars have been held annually. Each seminar presented covered a major subject area, with regard to proper restoration of a theatre pipe organ.
